Longlegs 2024
One of those where the 1st watch offers a ride filled with suspense, dread and leaves you wanting to know just a bit more in the end. A good movie overall.
The second watch is where this movie becomes great, you see the clues that were placed from the beginning and you understand why you know just enough by the end.
The opening scene should be considered one of the best openings to a film in general and the lines delivered by Nicolas Cage just before the title appears will remain as the creepiest aspect from this movie.

What a creep fest. Simple, predictable in some aspects and yet effective as hell. Besides Longlegs, this has been the only other movie that has gotten under my skin, so far this year. No, not with constant jump-scares (although it definitely has some) but by holding unto the suspense as much as it can while making you wish that the scare happens already but it won’t, because Damian McCarthy takes his time to do so.
Definitely one of my top favorites of this year. What a surprise, Shudder is really not holding back with some of these new additions to the platform and I love it.
