  Going through and adding films I saw as a kid to my Letterboxd, I had to pause and review this because it was genuinely one of my favorites. And I can STILL nail Marisa Tomei’s “Imagine you’re a deer…” monologue anytime you want — dare me!!

  Just got back from the screening of this at the Academy Museum — absolutely incredible film, and Herzog himself doing Q&A was even more amazing. Such a beautifully articulate, funny, poetic speaker who answered each question (even the sillier ones) on multiple levels and with a signature style that got me excited to delve into all of his work, especially FITZCARRALDO which is clearly a masterpiece.

  This is a skateboarding movie that sadly thinks it’s a dystopian YA novel! Should have just put even more budget into the hoverboards and it all would have been fine
