  I would say that the effort required to turn off my Adblock so that I could watch this in the uk, was not worth it for what I watched.

  There’s no getting around the fact that the novel is iconic, in many ways, and is this film a “faithful” adaptation of the novel, in a word, no.
  So if you’re after a frame by frame, panel by panel remake of the novel, look elsewhere.

  However, if you can look past the source material and treat this film as “Zack Snyder’s Watchmen” Rather than “Alan Moores Watchmen” in an extremely similar vein to the two interpretations of Stephen kings, and Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining” respectively. Then you will be in for a good time whatever cut you decide to watch.

  I have a father whose hobby is farting, he could set off a dangerous chemical alarm with one of his flatulence., and his favourite thing to do is walk into the kitchen while I’m eating, fart, and walk out with a big smile on his face.

  And whether or not you agree, condone or relate, to Pattinson in this film, the scene where he decides he’s has enough, and snaps and shouts “I’ve had it with your goddamn farts, YOUR GODDAMN FARTS!”
  is one of the most personal, liberating, and applause worthy parts of a film I have ever seen.

  Rest is good too.
