  Assholes like to say this movie was "prescient" or whatever but in actuality it just blows. It is founded on a deeply misanthropic misunderstanding of how intelligence works, socioeconomic factors, and basically everything else. It has like one good joke in it ("It's got what plants crave!" And the fuddruckers rebrand to "Buttfuckers") but has no understanding of how people or the world work (not to mention empathy), which is the foundation of good topical comedy.

  I don't know what to tell you. This is horrific. This woman fucks a dog. Gregor Samsa cannot star in a romantic comedy. Can't wait for the sequel, "Love on a String", where a woman's fianceé is turned into one of those little worm-on-a-string thingies.
