    Locations and shots look right out of Body Double, Blow Out, Deep Red, and Suspiria - yet the tone feels more like Crimes of Passion than anything else. I liked how the plot was its own thing, bringing in the Satanic panic of the 1980s into the VHS and coke-drenched LA of memories. The film felt oddly anticlimactic, but there are far worse ways to kill time in a theater nowadays.
