Watched with on-stage director and producer Q&A in Roppongi. Halfway through they were joined on the stage by random surprise guest Meiko Kaji and Sean Baker was totally star-struck in the presence of Female Prisoner Scorpion, the big nerd. Just a humble cinephile making films he wants to make in his own way and winning Oscars and a Palme d'Or for it.

Do both of these men sleep 12 hours a day? Do neither of them ever stay up late or get up early or wake up in the night to take a piss? These questions wouldn't matter if the film wasn't so thuddingly literal with its conceit, but it decides to take the silly route with such conviction that you can't not raise one/two eyebrows.
