Mickey 17 provides a near-future, light-hearted reflection on consciousness and what defines us as humans. I have no strong opinion of this movie. But I can’t say that any aspect of it was particularly interesting, enlightening, emotional, or fun.

Revisited this phenomenal Christmas movie for 2018 only to be reminded of what the season is truly about. While this movie is not bereft of shortcomings, it delivers a painfully predictable narrative with cringe-worthy writing. As cheesy as it is Christmasy, the only real way to enjoy this film is with minimal expectations and maximum eggnog. Looking forward to the sequel.
