A huge improvement from the first RE animated film but still only two stars. The distinct video game language feeling is gone and with it some of the appeal. There's some truly cool fight sequences in this, you can tell they did their homework. RIP JD, he did nothing wrong.

I cried three times. I somehow totally missed when this came out and only found out about it from Googling why Kevin Bacon was in the end credits scene for Vol. 3. It's definitely going into rotation for seasonal viewings now.
