  The gimmick of 'we filmed this with an iPhone' really doesn't pay off. The cinematography is boring. The angles are weird without purpose. The question of 'Is she insane or is he really there?' is answered fairly quickly.

  The movie is half Misery and half Lifetime Television for Women.

  Honestly, I didn't like it. I don't care what anybody says about the steady pace, the philosophical arguments or 'the fresh take' on the genre. I didn't like it.

  It was slow, the dialogue was leaden. The characters were boring. I didn't care about anybody surviving. Apart from a mutated crocodile and a bear, the challenges were minimum. Even if they were focusing on the mental challenges and keeping your wits about you, it was boring.

  The result was lukewarm and really didn't explain much.
