such a sad movie. made me bawl. it has timeless importance. what it means to feel something within you and not being able to express it bc the world has decided it for you. an inspiring movie to follow and honor your culture in whatever way you deemed fit. on top of that, a tragic story about how the violence of colonization is not just physical violence but to be destroyed from within. how education is/can be a tool for the destruction of communities. education is used as a violent tool.

WOW what an amazing movie. Never have seen material before. So subtly surrealist. it's like when u feel something within that u just have to express despite anybody's opinions or thoughts. So inspiring and beautiful. A movie about what it means to be truly you and have community. Low-key my favorite movie I've seen.
