  “And yet, the more I loved her the nearer I felt to God.” sigh. the shuffling between solitude, silence, and passion. the yearning to be enamoured; to devote, and be devoted. what a beautiful film … showcases the presence of eros in words / the masturbatory effect of writing and reading, a feeling that emulates the breath of life!

  just really fucking awesome and special. i miss Black americans everyday of my life. no one gets it. i wish i knew more lesbians. this film reminds me i’m a real person. yah sentimental thinking about 18 year old me watching this, deep in the closet, to me now >:) out n proud. time is a circle

  i don’t even know where to begin, there is genuinely so much to be said but i really loved this. i felt like it was satirical at times / self aware of itself? i started to enjoy it more when i realized it wasn’t taking itself too seriously. very camp take on self-mutilation & eugenics. god and the food scenes?? deliciously gross. also the ass shots, let’s talk about it. pays homage to a lot of earlier horror films too which…
