Came for the Call me by your name vibes stayed to get fucked in the head.
The chapter structure felt like the same characters were shifting between alternative realities and I fucked with that. Kinda messy, and chaotic towards the end but the music was great the actors amazing and the cinematography visually pleasing so overall it was a nice watch.

Sunday afternoon movie with great music.
Nothing deep about it
Maybe just the fact that music elitists are the only kind of snobs I would tolerate. Like yes tell me my music taste is shit and then put on a disc with the most obscure Latvian new wave punk band I’m hot for that shitTranslated from by -
Mufasa: The Lion King 2024
When I saw the trailer to this movie I had such high hopes for it. The plot had immense potential to add layers of complexity to its characters, by exploring Scar’s humanity and Mufasa’s possible flaws, making them seem more real.
However, the film instead leans into a more one-dimensional narrative where Mufasa is this untouchable image of virtue and Scar is just the bad guy.
In the end it was a cliche and the musical numbers, a defining element of the series, were also a disaster.
Not everything needs a sequel or a prequel, let good things die with dignity.Translated from by
