another Guadagnino movie with great cinematography and weird/lacking plot. The first half is a charming summery vibey yearning thing with gays so that s great but the second half…man…wtf… i dont even know where to start. great soundtrack tho really enjoyed the vibes. a film that wanted to be something but in the end couldnt.

The Brutalist 2024
Ok this movie….it reconfirmed my love for architecture. I was so hot for the building shots and the way it was all filmed so cinematic but goddamn architects can be full of themselves. Amazing acting. Liked the first act more that the second. Felt like the drug thing was a little much. Otherwise, an excellent movie that really managed to portray a very complex and , sadly, common situation for immigrants. Perfect representation of the client- architect relationship. And I actually enjoyed the intermission experience.

Just upsetting… the music, the plot…everything was bad. The only good thing was that they included some of the old music from the animated movies. I cringed so bad at that one ByeBye song, fucking kill me. And on top of that, the reason for Taka’s betrayal is so fucking stupid. Over a girl, my dude? really? Just no.
