Yes, it's a beautiful film. The set, framing, and use of colors are astonishing. But personally, it didn’t evoke any particular emotion in me. Nothing. Not even a strong sense of atmosphere, like A Visitor of a Museum (which I also struggled to fully grasp but I loved it so much).

Do I enjoy this kind of cinema? Sometimes but not this one, for sure.
Does that make me an ignorant, dumb person who just doesn’t get it? Maybe. Who knows?
Would I recommend it to a friend? No.

It's like a 90 mins cinematic poem; a poem about masculinity, rage, Jealousy, and hidden desires.

It's incredible that the movie was made by the same guy who made The lobster and Dogtooth. The problem with the film is that it is too "direct"; It means that Lanthimos has things to say, but he does not have the ability to include them in the form of "cinema". A good filmmaker (which he was before this film!!) is someone who can include what he has in mind in the visual signs and use the language and tools…
