  Inspired by Balzac + Rohmer: evidently.

  Clever critique of the economy of desire - the trajectory of romance made to directly interact (and be implicated in turn by) with the constant rise and fall of the value of the Argentine peso; the threat of dollarisation of the economy by the right-wing Milei regime looming large in the background of a hyper-digitised late capitalist milieu which provides a false sense of entrepreneurship to working class youth through new (and newer still) apps - which work to find only temporary (at best) jobs as well as temporary romantic/sexual setups.
