Well this one snuck up on me. Story about child-parent forgiveness and how forgiveness isn’t synonymous with reconciling a relationship. The director Titus Kaphar tells it an unforgiving way as well without sugarcoating how hard that journey is especially dealing with religious background
Andre Holland is absolutely incredible in this role and all the layers it took to play it. Could have used more of the wifes role in the film and his own relationship with his kid
