  The Big Short 2015

  Hard not for me to be really into this. This is just extremely my shit. Taps right into my stupid male ape brain that thinks I'm way smarter than I am and that I would do really well on Wall Street. Cast is great. The humour was right up my ally. Adam McKay's style is a bit much at points and can actually make the movie at times feel overstimulating, especially compiled with the amount of information it's throwing at you, but when it works it really works.

  Love how one of the most popular video games ever just has some arthouse film you can watch. It's such a perfect parody, they really went for it. The effort to make it look and feel like those kinds of films is so impressive, especially since only a small amount of players even know the genre they're parodying.

  Best dog acting since The Thing (1982)

  Such an engaging and sharply written mystery that leaves the viewers with so much left to decipher on their own, much like many people tend to do when viewing a real life trial while we hardly know any of the facts. For 150 minutes, I was gripped the whole way through and wouldn't have wanted it any shorter. While I suppose the story doesn't reinvent the wheel for courtroom dramas, when it's being told this well, that's far from being a necessity.
