As far as found footage films go, this one was very crisp and well executed. The tone was on point and Mark Duplass played the hell out of his role. Fairly decent pace for a slow burn as well.

Lords of Dogtown 2005
Seamlessly encapsulated the movement of skateboarding in 70’s California and the pioneers of their craft Jay Adams, Tony Alva and Stacy Peralta.
You hear about Heath Ledger’s stellar turns in 10 Things I Hate About You, Brokeback Mountain and The Dark Knight amongst others but what about his portrayal of Skip Engblom. He chewed up every scene he was in as the manager of the Z-Boys in Lords of Dogtown.
Not to take anything away from the three leads Emile Hirsch, Victor Rasuk and John Robinson. They all complimented each other very well despite contrasting personalities and styles of boarding.
This was such a cool film

Logan 2017
Tried so hard to find a fault in this film but it honestly proved very difficult. Logan was so far detached from the tame product marvel generally produces.
The vulnerability shown by Logan as well as the almighty Xavier’s own ailing existence brought a welcoming human element to the experience.
This was Jackman’s best take on Wolverine to date and probably his finest work overall as an actor.
