I know Paul Schraeder has distanced himself from this one but to me it's A-grade Namsploitation at an elevated level! Unflinching in it's portrayal of violence and PTSD it's just a shame our lead is rather dry he doesn't really get a moment out of that even if it is purposefully portraying his perma-shellshock I never really care about his fate in an otherwise interesting revenge flick.

Movies and the enjoyment of them being a very subjective experience is something that I would say is true for almost any movie but Satantango is not one of these movies...this is a movie that I have to assume only film school students who feel like they have something to prove pretend to like. This movie is over 7 hours of nothing with some dead cat in it...I can't see any merit in watching this movie and I can't see objectively or subjectively why a person would enjoy this movie
