Mysterious Skin 2004
Incredible, moving film with powerful performances but also deeply sad. Can’t wait to keep exploring Gregg Araki’s filmography.

Adolescence 2025
Truly a harrowing, gut-wrenching story that doesn’t loosen its grip on you for all four episodes. The end of episode one and four completely broke me, and episode three had me holding my breath. Euphoria: F*ck Anyone Who’s Not a Sea Blob 2021
the writing for this special episode was PHENOMENAL. Hunter Schafer needs to be in the writer’s room more often, she really understands Jules as both a character and a person. also, the “half of every relationship is in my head” sequence was so beautifully shot and edited. I Saw the Devil 2010
This is one of the most effective, well-executed revenge thrillers I have ever seen in my life. It’s relentless in its horrifying depiction of the way vengeance can consume a person’s every thought and action. Equally as relentless in its horrifying depiction of human beings who are just pure evil. It’s heartbreaking, disturbing, and unflinching. Korean cinema really knows how to grab you by the throat and keep you in its grip long after the credits roll.
