This movie was destined to fail with all the setbacks they faced over the course of production. I really don’t think it’s as bad as people say it is but it was pretty dull. I was pretty bored half way through but I’ve definitely seen worse movies than this.

The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie 2024
This movie was a lot weirder than I was expecting. It reminded me a lot of Ren & Stimpy. That’s not a bad thing but I do miss the classic style of Looney Tunes. It was still really funny and was awesome to see a 2-D animated movie again.

I went to see this having no idea Flying Lotus directed it and I think he did a great job. There were plenty of trippy visuals and the music he composed fit perfectly. The story wasn’t groundbreaking but it still my attention the whole time. Eiza Gonzalez and Aaron Paul both gave good performances as well. Overall it was a creepy and psychedelic experience.

Overall a good movie. It was pretty funny and Robert Pattinson does a good job. However I’m not sure about Mark Ruffalo’s character. He plays a weird politician who heads the expedition that Mickey joins. Admittedly he has some funny moments but his character seems a bit too on the nose for me.
