Though this movie is not good for multiple reasons, I find these reviews interesting. Y’all are coining Busta Rhymes as the problem and it’s funny considering this movie is only semi good because of him ?! lol. The man actually knows martial arts too, just for context.

Point is, the selectively racist themes on this app kill me every time.

    K, bye

This movie was everything I anticipated. As of the last couple of years I’ve grown to learn that Tom Cruise is an “out of sight” performer & I appreciate how serious he takes his roles. With movies like Maverick & it’s hyper-realistic elements I can’t see anything less for the future. As for the movie, it’s a worthy (almost 3 hour) ride, full of action & quirky one liners that’ll keep you from beginning to end. If you’ve never seen any of these it’s safe to say you can jump in at any point and have a good time.

This movie is oddly poetic more than it is horrifying. It’s a short and sweet story about a plastic surgeon that seeks out a suitable face for his beloved daughter. Yea. Sounds crazy.
Her face was dismantled in an accident and this simply displays the trial and error of face replacement. There’s a couple good plot twist and a rather sinister ending. If you like classic foreign films then this 1960’s psych horror is for you.

I like this movie more in theory than I do it’s actual existence. Ethan Hawke had the perfect setup to display a rather gritty character but the shaky and displaced writing made him rather watery.  The sub plots were messy and pointless, literally held no weight towards the story. It was such an underwhelming experience, can’t tell if it’s practical or supernatural. In all fairness I’ll be giving it another shot for wider perspective but I’ll likely still feel the same 🤷🏽‍♂️
