We watched the pussy-mommy-screaming-r8pe scene in one of my college film classes, and I knew from that scene alone that I was not mature or smart enough yet to really get this masterpiece.

A decade later I finally watched it with my husband. As if it weren’t already unforgettable, I will never forget the first time I watched this film.

RIP David Lynch I know your ghost enjoyed the show.

As a Priestess of Isis, this classic remake struck a very intimate chord with me. I saw this with my husband and a respectful, open-minded audience. I’ve been delaying my review because I am still mentally and emotionally stuck on this film. It will haunt me for several years, if not the rest of my life.

Some of us just have too much blood. Some of us are just appetites. But all of us just want to bounce on it crazy style.

There are too many trailers and nothing incoming looks great (especially the live action Snow White…..keep it in the can, Disney).

The intro is commanding, but it immediately insists upon itself. “No One Mourns the Wicked” is emotional, but I don’t think I would have cried…

The right to life is a controversial subject, as is the validity of romantic comedies as a substantial film genre. 2016 was a hell of a year, and at the time I wrote this one off; scoffing at Emilia Clark’s entry into film from TV.

    I missed out.

I’ve seen several clips on TikTok that had me seeking out this one on the streamers. At the time, months ago, it wasn’t available. Right now, it’s free on Prime.

    Emilia Clark…
