what a waste of 2 hours feels like. horrible dialogue and a grueling watch experience made this one a movie to forget. i wouldn’t recommend this movie to anyone unless you want a convoluted storytelling experience that lacks any resemblance to a real through line. horrible character creation, world building and again again again STORYTELLING. robert pattinson’s character is initially shown as a troubled dad alone in space with a baby. then we see how he’s on a prison ship…

    Mickey 17. Mickey 17. Mickey 17.

This is another release i had my hopes up for, it seems like 2025 will not be as good a year for movies as 2024. I am left flabbergasted, frumious, and downright repulsed.

great horror concept, great intrigue into the worldbuilding, absolutely horrid character design and direction. i love miles teller and anya taylor joy but their characters were insufferable to put it gingerly, and repulsive to be blunt. there were various logical and emotional inconsistencies with their characters that made them completely different when they were together than everything we’ve been shown already about these characters.

    like i said…

By far the best war movie i’ve ever seen. very comprehensive and sprawling plot that explores the psyches of war and the players in it. from the Private to the Vice Admiral, everyone in the narrative has a deep sense of humanity and compassion put into their characters.

Jim Caviezel plays Private Witt with an immense confidence that resonates with the character and the story to be told. given to us as a flawed deserter with lofty ideals of humanity…
