After The Hunting Party, the second '70s movie in which Candice Bergen gets herself kidnapped by some brute and eventually gets fond of him. At least this time she doesn't sleep with him. Progress.
I especially liked the bits with Roosevelt. Sharply written scenes with original setups that portrait him as the real barbarian.
Surprise find at the thrift store. Great cast and good story in a film that’s at least half an hour too long.

Sure, it’s got too many characters, but that’s not the problem. The problem is I didn’t care for (or was annoyed by) half of them. Love James Acaster though.
It’s okay, but it’s got the same issue Marvel movies have nowadays where every interaction between characters should be funny or witty. As a result you never really feel any legit danger.
