  This one is just a bit odd I've always wanted to check it out I know it has a very polarising reputation and is just kinda forgotten about these days but I've always felt compelled to check it out. It's too corny and sappy and earnest but I kinda liked the sentiment of it and a lot of the production and craft behind it despite some of it being eye rolling.

  Look this isn't any good but I dunno it's just so dumb that I didn't absolutely hate it and Danny Dyer isn't absolutely insufferable so well done I guess.

  I would like to sincerely apologize to Denis for taking so long to watch I am forever in your debt.

  What can I really say that hasn't already been said it's pure science fiction grandeur that is so rare now with an auteur who has such a clear vision for an adaptation that was seen as unadaptable to its purest form.

  All these environments seemlessly created and a lot of the jargon that could be seen as a barrier is…

  I enjoyed this didn't love it, reminded me a lot of early Spielberg more Jaws than Close Encounters ironically, just nice to see a mid budget original studio film they are a rare breed these days.
