  really liked the pacing and the constant shift from different moments in time. the characters were interesting, but i wish we had had more context as to why frank behaved in this way. he seemed to have a pathological lying problem from a young age, but not much context was given. however, i tried not to focus on this too much seeing as it was based on a true story, understanding that there may not be any answers to my questions. the ending was satisfactory, and didn’t leave me wishing for more the way some other stories based on real events have in the past.

  i was told that this movie was literally the best thing ever made so i think for that sole reason i didn’t enjoy it too much. might need a rewatch to form a good opinion.
