  I would not blink if someone told me this was an elaborate prank by David Cronenberg to parody himself.

  Characters wax philosophical about absolutely nothing, characters are given awful dialogue, plot lines are introduced but then barely elaborated on (I'm talking to you inner beauty pagent). The production design is also shockingly low, with the Government agencies and bureaucrats feeling unconvincing due to the lack of authentic locations and set design.
