  I went in thinking it’d be better than the first one, but the only thing I ended up liking was the craft of the film. Really, really hated how they switched up the book’s ending for some cheap, “let’s get the feminists cheering” type tension-building, turned Paul into a loser, changed Stilgar into comic relief, and screwed-up the script by destroying the way people talked. This isn’t gen z, it’s supposed to be high culture, like you mastered in the first movie.

  Great visuals and sound though.

  Hate to say it so often but this one’s just another fun and funny film. Can’t have a bad time watching it.
