Rebel Ridge 2024
What I thought was going to be an awful Netflix First Blood knockoff, Rebel Ridge surprised me.
Similarly to the recent Reacher series, Rebel Ridge uses the one man lone wolf conspiracy thriller genre semi successfully.
It starts insanely well but fizzles out through the nearly 2 and a half hour run time and gets lost in its own narrative.
With great acting, underwhelming fight scenes and and even more underwhelming ending, Rebel Ridge is still one of the best things Netflix has done recently.
