  “You ruined my life you fat fuck” …so funny. I guess he fails to make a movie simply about flowers but also, isn’t it a little about flowers? Adapting is surviving.  To adapt the book and make it survive is to change it a little.

  The subtlety of this documentary is the greatest thing about it. It does not try to be political despite the fact that the viewer keeps wondering what has happened to these people now that the war has raged for over a year. Instead it gives glimpses into the life of a young man: his family, his education, his friendship with an Israeli man, his smoking.

  His life and the lives of everyone in his village are consumed by one daily…

  I hate it when a character is like mute or something and then by the end of the movie they can miraculously talk. Like cmon I thought the point was her will is so strong is can speak in other people’s minds or that she speaks through piano.
