Genuinely enjoyed this but my girlfriend absolutely fucking hated it. If you don’t like old men talking in hushed tones this may not be your favorite movie ever
A fairly balanced and charitable portrayal of the Catholic Church and an example of an election gone right despite the right wing tendency to coalesce and accrue power as a group, and the left wing tendency toward infighting, splintering, and excessive self reflection. If only we had a Cardinal Lawrence overseeing our elections.
