How the AMPAS members failed to recognize the BEST performance by an Actress in 2024 with the talented Marianne Jean-Baptiste is beyond me. Awarding Mikey Madison or Demi Moore the trophy will overlooking this complex, sardonic and emotional performance is why I don't give two shits about the lack-luster Oscars.
Funny and sad all rolled up in one, the performances and the script by Mike Leigh is simply amazing.
