I would say this film is one of the most visually stunning films ever made. Metropolis was a mindblowing film when it released using techniques that revolutionised filmmaking and still maintained the style of the 1920s German Expressionism. Although some scenes have been lost to time and the many different cuts may divide audiences on how long the film needs to be. It is still an incredible film to experience.
