    CHRISTMAS BOBFERATU,BABY MOVIE #2

before we begin, I do have to be transparent and acknowledge that, due to horrible movie time offerings and surprising congestion on north college, I arrived to the movie about 15 minutes late and missed the opening expository scene. CHRISTMAS BOBFERATU,BABY MOVIE 1

I tried so hard to care but ultimately couldn’t, and that really bummed me out. The project took a bunch of incredibly interesting characters from a fascinating part of Midwest cultural history, wrung them dry, and laid them out flat.  We were left with drab plot played out by a few two-dimensional characters using overcooked accents, tough guy one liners, and lingering glances to insinuate whatever the screenwriter was too lazy to write out for us.

I only stayed for the lighting, Austin Butler smoking cigs, and Tom Hardy wearing jeans. Definite disappointment.
