Rewatched this with my partner who hates everything and he just wants the record to show that he thinks the third act going absolutely batshit was such a surprise and he loved it.

File the serial numbers off this film and its cliched non-storiedness would be instantly revealed. It is astoundingly voiceless. Weird male indulgence at its finest.  

Several companies came together to get this made and it is just not worthy of the big screen.  Yikes.

Some movies are just weird and perfect.

The high stylization in this movie was fantastic. I felt it every time sis fell on her ass. 

Polite Society is fun and funny. Very stylized and clear vision despite the small budget. The story is funny. The acting is really solid. This story covers sisterhood, friendship, futures, and family. Coming in at a tight 103 minutes, this is for the date nights, the sleepovers, the hangouts, the sick days.  

It’s a new little classic.
