Plays brilliantly to their strengths, especially as it was their first film. Origin of the music video? Fun, stylistic storytelling and music.

Spike Lee is so underrated. This is another fantastic and engaging movie that shows off his incredibly imaginative storytelling skills.

The framework is a reworking of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre with updates to make it a commentary on American life from Vietnam to the present. As always Lee perfectly balances his commentary with an entertaining story.

Acting, writing, directing, cinematography are all perfect. How it only got 1 Oscar nomination for Score is beyond belief. At minimum Delroy Lindo should have gotten a Best Actor nomination if not the award.

Come for Grant and Kelly; stay for the absolutely gorgeous cinematography by the great Robert Burks. Cinema as travelogue.

Fun Hitchcock story and classy leads but I could watch this with the sound down and still be entertained.

Jerry Seinfeld goes all in on his love of processed breakfast food and I’m here for it. Terrible, but in an all-in way that never once takes itself seriously and is unafraid of any silly gag. Hugh Grant steals the movie as Thurl Ravenscoft aka Tony the Tiger. And the Mad Men scene is perfection.
