Absolutely superb. Exactly what I’m looking for when I’m in the mood to watch a film from the era of Asian cinema.

I liked bits of this, but don’t think this is the one for me. Very very average. I like the concept, I know it’s based on a book. And I like Bong.
Thought it was lit terribly. Like were they going for natural light but on a space ship?
Between Mark Ruffalo’s performance in this and Poor Things, I now think he’s absolutely hilarious and should always be cast in silly character roles like this. He’s so good at it.

This came out in 2012 and I was trying to be cool and be like “aw yous all like this? Well I DON’T and that’s THAT” which is silly because I’ve just watched this at a lodge on the Isle of Arran and it was actually class. I think I’ll watch the other ones.
