Even as someone who loves the silliness of the Monsterverse Godzilla films, it’s nice to have a contrast. Minus One is that and more. A film that truly makes Godzilla feel like a force of nature and puts the human characters front and centre. If I had to mark it down for anything it’d be that it didn’t quite land at the very end.
Somehow even worse than Jason X. Little-to-no camp charm, no good kills and one of the most annoying casts of characters I’ve ever seen. An ugly film.
