Randomly remembered watching this at the art museum theater with Michelle and being the only people laughing throughout. Unintentionally hilarious sequence of events. So sappy. So many groans and laughs. Graphs.
Then we graphed again when it won best animated short film at the Oscar’s.
At least it was memorable.

I still think about this one. Lately I’ve wondered what kind of parent I’ll be. What mistakes I’ll make. New parent nerves I suppose. Part of that comes from observing my own parents and coming to grips with their imperfections and how those manifest in me.
This is a movie that depicts those experiences you have as a child that you thought were normal at the time, but reflect on later as an adult and pick apart the problematic details.
In the end, all you can do is sympathize and improve on your own design.
