Spencer accurately captures what I felt trying to assimilate myself into my partner's (now ex) chosen family and realizing I lost myself trying to please them and everything... This movie is just perfect from beginning to end and I'm glad its the first movie I watched this year.

ill give credit where credit is due… the message this movie is trying to tell us is important no doubt
my problem is that the story telling was so sloppy. one, it felt like the movie was spoon feeding us the message and it doesnt trust its audience enough to understand what its trying to say without literally speaking it out loud in dialogue. two, ang kalat! andaming nangyayari, andaming moments that didnt make sense, andaming sinisiksik na ibang political issues to the point it sometimes takes the focus away from the main issue being tackled.
