Please take the $360 million budget of the latest Superman remake and give us 36 more intelligent, ambitious auteur flicks like this
Gotta respect how hard it swings for the fences and how close it comes to being an Epic Masterpiece of American Cinema.
Thought it was more confident in it's execution than its meaning but ultimately that's fine w me. A few things were more literal than they needed to be. A few things were gestured at a bit too vaguely. Ultimately, it was thrilling and damning and great.
