Great adaptation of a radio play. Moonlight Graham is excellent and the story keeps you guessing and ramps up the tension throughout.

In the Heat of the Night 1967
I’ve been meaning to watch this for years and finally got around to it and I’m glad I did. Poitier and Steiger are electric together and there’s no fat on this film. Great performances all around with superb direction. Makes it one without being preachy or beating you over the head with it.

Standout performance by Stanwyck. You believe all her emotions and her honest portrayal of a woman with dreams who achieved none of them but eventually realized what she had and what life could be. Like many 50s films the journey is great but the landing sucks. I hated the ending.
