The Suicide Squad 2021
A solid contender for Gunn’s best. Basically Guardians of the Galaxy if it was way more violent and unfiltered. Fine by me. Easily the best live-action DC movie since the Nolan Batman trilogy wrapped up. An improvement over the 2016 one in every single way, least of all in that this actually feels like a movie. It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you don’t ship off all your footage to be edited by a fucking trailer house.

Saw the news and went straight here. This is more a ramble about David Lynch and his legacy than it is about the show. If you haven’t seen it and you’re scrolling through here looking for a reason to, here it is: Do it now. Watch the whole thing. You owe it to yourself. It’s the greatest show of all time, and the Season 2 finale (directed by Lynch) is the best goddamn thing ever created by anybody. Ever.
