Where are the spicy charm, the sensuality of Colette’s novels ? I had the impression of seeing only nice costumes moving in the middle of beautiful scenery and beautiful objects. And this actor, how awful !

Corman mixes a lot of Richard III, a little bit of Macbeth, some Price hamming in black tights and wig, and drowns it all in a filling music. The result is a little indigestible.
