A not bad small movie, but without anything really memorable.
First, there are bats in it; some are real and some are fake. And especially, there's a bat man in the center of the story. But if you expect a kind of Batman for the "bat man" , you'll be disappointed. He has absolutely nothing of a bat. Corman mixes a lot of Richard III, a little bit of Macbeth, some Price hamming in black tights and wig, and drowns it all in a filling music. The result is a little indigestible.
