HERO SP 2006
it's an interesting choice to feature an entirely new cast only for a 2-hour special but i had fun. as a yakuza player it was nice to see kiichi nakai and shinichi tsutsumi again in roles unlike what i've seen before. plotwise it's pretty similar to the first tv finale in structure and is EXTREMELY predictable...? but so was most of the tv show, and i did go "cool motive still murder" after the confession. overall, i was kinda ambivalent…

god this was a really solid movie??? it has a horror movie vibe for like the last half which i really enjoy, but also the soundtrack is really good (including the bgm), the scenes all serve a really good purpose, plusle and minun are adorable, and we even get a 90s/00s style music sequence
