Robot "colossus" can walk through water without rust or malfunction after already destroying the box that powers and unpowers him. Then this being, who is a machine vessel for the brain of a dead scientist, suddenly has death rays from his eyes around the end of the second act. Why would the people who built this robot body for him (his brother and father) design him to be a violent killing machine when they just needed his intellect?
Not much of a colossus, just robo Frankenstein monster.
