I picked up Umbrella Entertainment's enormous 'Absolute Power' blu-ray release of this film, and I finally got around to watching the new Ultimate Cut.
This new cut and restoration is something to behold, man! Thomas Negovan and his team really did something extraordinary here! Revelations 2025
Not bad! This is a pretty decent Korean crime thriller from Yeon Sang-ho, director of Train to Busan, as well as the more recent Netflix shows Hellbound and Parasyte: The Grey. It looks great; the cinematography is really good, the story has some interesting wrinkles; it definitely did not go how I was expecting, and the main trio of characters are interesting and well-acted. Worth a watch on Netflix.
