I think I’m just a little tired of these kinds of movies. It was a Deadpool movie, nothing wrong with that, but it wasn’t anything more.

First time watching this all the way through! Really fun and creative movie!

I liked the spooky detective mystery and the nods to 80s horror combined with the more modern horror angle. I wasn't so keen on the main antagonist and her motivations and as a result struggled to completely buy into the premise. However, this is probably just me overanalysing and looking for something that doesn't really need to exist outside of, because she's an evil devil lady.

A solid spook flick and really good film to see now cinemas are back. Horror is always elevated so much on the big screen and this film perfectly exemplafies that.

Putting the baffling timing and social relevance aside, Spike Lee has still managed to direct a poignant adventure movie that is just as entertaining as it is important.
